This year, we have decided to donate to "A kids place". This is a 5 acre facility for orphans, foster kids, etc. I am asking everyone to try to donate at least one toy and/or a gift card (as some of the kids are older). The kids there range from newborns to 18 years old. DO NOT wrap them. I am going to drop them all off Monday at 1pm if anyone would like to join me. Please drop them off at the school by Saturday at the latest. I know this is last minute and I apologize for that. But lets try to get lots of stuff together for the kids!
In addition to this, I would like to start donating classes to them. After the first of the year, We can go down there once a week and teach kung fu to the kids. I will get more details when I meet with them Monday. I will definitely need help with these classes, so if you are interested, please contact me.

Holiday Kids Camp Deadline is Saturday.
Please contact Sifu Bill if you are interested in having your child participate in the Holiday Kids camp ASAP. The deadline to sign up will be Thursday. The cost is $125 for both days. This will include lunch and snacks. We will be doing lots of fun activities including a high level kung fu kata and lots of exercise and games. They do not need to be a student to participate in this class.
Holiday Party is next Tuesday from 7-9(ish)pm.
I have put a signup sheet on the wall by the fridge. If you would like to bring some food, please sign up. The more the better, as I usually live on your leftovers for the entire break...haha kiddin. Family and Friends are welcome.
The Holiday breaks- Monday, December 21-Saturday, December 26, and also December 31-January 2.
Last chance Tuition special. 16 months for the price of 12. Thats 4 months for free! Imagine not having to pay tuition for 16 months. I will also include free admission to any seminar that I personally teach, including the Winter Festival.

Grandmaster Sin Kwang The will be visiting Saturday, January 16th for testing and Seminar. He is teaching out Black Tiger Broadsword. This is a high level
sword form that is open to all adult students. I am asking everyone who is planning to attend to try to email me back with an RSVP so I can have some preliminary numbers for him.
I am also asking a few people to go ahead and prepay if you have the ability so I have some money on hand to purchase his plane tickets.
If you dont have a sword, you can get a metal one for $75 or a wooden one for $25. You must purchase your sword from the school. We have several models to choose from.
Remember, every time you purchase martial arts supplies elsewhere, that is money that could be going to support your own school. In many cases, I can get the same item here for the same price or less. Merchandise sales are a part of how we make our money. |
